We offer blueberries from the middle of July to the middle of August. Blueberries are sold by the pound at our self-service stand.
Our new Lower Field has 3 varieties - Duke, Spartan and Bluecrop. They rippen in that order.
The self-service booth is located next to the shop where you can pick up your bucket lined with a produce bag. Once you get your bucket you can walk to the upper field (next to Clough Hill Road) or walk or drive to the lower field. After picking your berries return to the self-service stand and pay.
If you have children we do have a swing set in the Lower Field. Parents please watch your children as their safety is our primary concern.
While down in the Lower Field, you will see Christmas trees growing. Please feel free to wander through the trees. Parents, please do not let your children wander unattended! Some of the trees are very small so please be gentle. You can find more info on our Christmas Tree page.
We are "blessed" to have an abundance of wildlife in close proximaty to the farm. Three of these "blessings", deer, birds and turkeys, have caused us a LOT of problems. We do have a non-electric fence around the main field but do use an electric fence in the upper field next to Clough Hill Road. Then fence is off during the day.
In an effort to combat the birds, we deploy noise and sight objects. We use tin pie plates reflective tape that also make noise blowing in the even smallest breeze. Another weapon is a product by Bird-B-Gone which produces "distress and predator calls." You will see, and likely hear, the Bird-B-Gone sound machine in the Lower Field.
